new holy grail
"These are my new favorite stockings! I am new to compression and ordered a few different pairs out to try on, in two batches. I was afraid of 30-40mmHg based on stories that they are tight and difficult to get on, so I tried the 20-30mmHg equivalent model first and liked it well enough, but my doc had recommended more compression and I could tell I was swollen at the end of the day. Well: these are even better!! They are ~4" longer than the 20-30mmHg sheers, which is great because they stay up higher on my thigh - meaning skirts and shorts hide the lace cuff. The lace is pretty, so if it shows I don't mind too much. The color is a hair darker than the Golden in the 20-30mmHg equivalent model, and a shade darker than my skin tone (but very close). The 20-30mmHg sheers in Golden were a near perfect match for my skin. (Maybe it's simply due to denser fiber weave?) The foot section is longer, the heel does not ride up, the solid thigh band does not fall down nor leave any marks. I am curvier and found other brands were either too tight on the thigh band or too loose at the ankle. These are amazing and do not have any of those problems. I'll be ordering more now I have tried a few models. One small note: If I am out somewhere hot and sweat with crossed legs, I sometimes get a dark in the stocking line from where the sweat goes. I hope that will lessen after a few washings, as I do see a little tan pigment appear in the hand-washing water."
No sandals with these
"I was excited to order my first thigh high open toes. Bought 2 pairs of sandals with wide straps on top in anticipation. But the open toe is so loose the hose ride up almost to my ankle and are not wearable with sandals."

"My legs are thin. I bought the smallest size and had no compression from the knee up. I returned them for a Mediven pair that did offer firm compression above the knee. I have many thigh high 30-40 mmHg compression stockings and have never had this issue before. The material wassoft and I liked the color. Bummer’"
