"The stockings work well to control the swelling from the varicose veins."
"These were great for my lymphedema/lipedema, but, unfortunately they run a bit small. Sadly, I’ve gained some weight and they don’t make any that would fit my large legs."

"Have reordered these for years - great support and comfortable."
"Best in class, that I know of. I'm both a large (>300lbs) and tall (>6'-2") active guy, big-boned, with big feet (mens' 14E) - and severe enough edema in one leg I have to have the 40~50 mmHg compression knee-high - or wear bell-bottomed trousers. The Mediven Forte Extra Wide Calf Open Toe Knee Highs w/ Silicone Top Band are the best fit and least uncomfortable compression stocking I've found. The heel-pocket isn't great, 1st part to wear out, and the instep sleeve is both too small and too short (so it rides back up toward the ankle, painfully), but it's head and shoulders above anything else I've found. The silicone top band minimizes (does not stop) down-the-shin creep, and resists rolling better than any other stocking I've tried. The material forming the body of the stocking is thick, heavy and hardly glamorous, but it works, and it lasts better than any other stocking I've tried. I wear the largest size Mediven offers (VII), and wish they'd offer an VIII. . . They're godawful pricey, even on sale through ForYourLegs, and worth every cent - at least until there's some competition with same size (or larger), durability and compression. For economy purposes: My other leg gets along fine with 30~40 mmHg compression. When a 40~50 mmHG stocking wears out (stretches permanently, too much to contain the swelling of my bad leg), the open toe of the Mediven Forte Extra Wide Calf Knee High lets me swap it to my better leg, effectively doubling the lifetime of these unique and expensive compression stockings."
