Disappointed for the First Time

"I was diagnosed with leg vein reflux in 1996 and have kept 8 pairs of Mediven knee highs in stock ever since. Slightly under 5 feet tall, wearing size 5 1/2 shoe and weighing 95 pounds, I have consistently worn Mediven Petite I. Recently I ordered 5 pairs of this size to replace worn stock. I took them out of their boxes and ran them through the wash, then placed them in my drawer. When I tried on the first pair, I was stunned. The foot is too short, cramping my toe. The leg length is an inch shorter than my older pairs. The material is more flimsy, less firm, and the hose slides downward and wrinkles on my calf. It certainly seems that the manufacturer has made changes for the worse in their knee highs and I have spent a lot of money for a product that no longer meets my needs."

"I was fitted with my first pair but ordered 2nd pr from FYL. I inherited a “Stocking Donner” so getting them on is less of a problem. They have reduced swelling well. They dry fairly fast especially if wrapped in a towel to remove extra water. I expect to order another pair in the future"
