30-40 mmHg: These socks are often prescribed to provide relief from moderate to severe edema, varicose veins, and deep vein thrombosis. They’re also prescribed for post-sclerotherapy and to heal active venous stasis ulcers. This level of compression should only be worn under a doctor’s supervision.

Juzo Soft knee high stockings deliver 30-40 mmHg of graduated compression from the ankle to just below the knee. 30-40 mmHg is a firm level. It is normally worn on a clinician's direction rather than chosen off the shelf.

Soft is the Juzo series to reach for when the stocking has to go on every morning without a fight. Juzo knits it to be extremely soft and elastic, with a reinforced heel and a soft toe box at the two points that take the most wear. The knit is opaque and, in Juzo's words, virtually inconspicuous, so it reads as everyday hosiery rather than as a medical garment. The series runs from 15-20 through 30-40 mmHg in knee high, thigh high and pantyhose, with an open and a closed toe at every level.

Key features

  • Soft, elastic knit - Juzo builds the Soft series to be extremely soft and elastic
  • Opaque finish - covers the leg and wears like ordinary hosiery
  • Open toe - the toe section is left open, and it works with a Juzo Open Toe Slippie, which slides over the foot to make the stocking easier to pull on
  • Reinforced heel - built up where wear concentrates
  • Machine wash and dry - no hand washing and no line drying
  • Unisex sizing - sizes I through V in regular, short and petite lengths

Good Stocking

"Juzo stocking fits well and stays up. Great."

Gordon M. (5/5)

Terribly tight, forming a 1 inch deep band around my leg.

"Terribly tight. And I have worn Compression hose for over 20 years. So, I am very used to them. They formed an extremely tight band about 4 inches above the ankle. And about an inch or more deep. It was actually super painful! All within a 2 hour period. I measured exactly within a size 3. I am not surf I need a size larger or if the compression is just too much for my leg. I need to call and get it figured out. Because I really need some badly. And these just won’t work."

Juzo Soft

"At first they seemed to run a little bit small, but after wearing and washing them a couple of times they are very comfortable."

David B. (5/5)

Juzo soft

"Okay, but I wouldn’t order again. I feel like they might run a bit big and that was the problem."

Donna D. (3/5)

Comfort, fit, and appearance.

"This is the model of choice for me. Juzo makes other 30/40 open toe models but I prefer this model for the comfort."

James B. (5/5)

Juzo Soft

"I only recently learned that Juzo Soft exists. The only stockings that were offered to me through my health plan were Juzo Basic. They are fine, but stiff and not as easy to wear. I'm planning to order another pair of Juzo Soft next time I need more."

Linda J. (5/5)

Great fit

"I have bought Juzo for many years. The socks stay in place and I love the option of the open toe."
