"I ordered 2 pair of the black 20-30 grade Ven Active compression knee high hose which have been reasonable to put on and wear for about 8-10 hours five days a week. I hope to have surgery in a couple of months and they are required by my physician before surgery and probably for a time post surgery for varicose veins. They have washed well in my machine and I have air dried them."

I actually wish it was even less compressing because I also have arthritis in my knees. Otherwise very nice fit with a little extra room in toe box."

The two negatives would be that the stockings are a little short and the supposedly neutral color is very khaki/yellow looking.
