"I must be between sizes in the Mediven line: ordered a IV and the thighband was too tight - the silicone pattern is a mesh and it left red dots on my skin after maybe an hour or two of wearing. I was afraid what that would do to my skin upon days of repeated wear. Ordered a V and the thighband was so loose it slipped down within 3 steps. I am new to thigh-high stockings and The length was longer than the sheer Sigvaris open-toe 20-30mmHg, and about the same or a hair shorter than the Sigvaris open-toe 30-40mmHg (which are about 4-5 inches longer than the 20-30mmHg, which I don't understand the variation from the same manufacturer)."
